Tulips are one of my favorite
flowers. In fact, I carried a bouquet of white tulips on my wedding day.
My husband and I recently celebrated our 30th anniversary and that inspired me
to paint these tulips.
The addition of the cardinal was due to seeing them from my studio while I was
working on this.
Cardinals are monogamous and watching them together was quite heartwarming,
especially when the male would bring his mate something to eat.
Lucky for me, this quality is shared by my husband who is the far better cook in
our family.
