The stately and beautiful Blue
Heron was a joy to paint as they are already so well designed.
While
these are often considered coastal birds, we are lucky to see them frequently in
Cypress Creek and the Blanco River right here in Wimberley.
Inspiration from both here and a trip to the Texas coast prompted me to go ahead
and paint one.
I had the awesome experience of getting to watch one up close while it was
strolling in the water and having breakfast.
It was an amazing experience and one I will cherish.
